How Constellations Work - Foundations of Systemic In this opening session, Georg Breiner will introduce core foundations of systemic thinking and constellation work. The focus will be on the principles behind the work: how constellations function, what makes them effective, and why visualising a system can reveal dynamics that often remain hidden in conversation alone.
The session will include stories and practical reflections from Georg’s many years of experience with constellation work, as well as an initial demonstration - ideally in a hidden constellation format. This allows participants to experience the effect of the method directly before moving into theoretical understanding.
At the beginning, participants’ existing knowledge and experience will be gathered through a short Zoom poll, so the session can meet the group where it is and create a shared foundation for the learning journey ahead.
Possible focus areas:
  • Basic principles of systemic thinking
  • Core attitudes in constellation facilitation
  • How and why constellations work
  • The power of visualisation in systemic work
  • First demonstration with reflection
  • Connecting previous experience with new learning
